Get CEU credits from the Festival

CEU credits are available to Connecticut teachers for attending the Festival. Forms will be found in the registration packets. Those applying for CEUs must complete the form(s), and return it signed with full address and social security number, to the Registration desk in Cummings Art Center to receive CEUs.

The Objectives for this Professional Development Activity:

Participants will:

• Come to recognize that the stories and folklore of their own families can be a resource for personal and professional growth and can be shared with others;
• Increase their knowledge of a variety of storytelling and types of stories, and develop an appreciation of the role of storytelling in diverse cultures;
• Experience different ways of communicating through storytelling and develop some insights and/or practical techniques.

CEU Credits:

• Saturday -- .5 credits
• Sunday -- .2 credits
• Full Festival -- .7 credits
