A Patchwork Quilt of Tales

Programs tailored to your school's need and available either singly or in combination

Assemblies Storytelling assemblies are usually presented by a solo storyteller. They consist of 45-60 minute storytelling performances for larger groups: one or more grade-levels or all-school. Programs may be tied to particular elements of curricula, to appropriate seasons or holidays, to historical events or celebrations of different cultures, or tailored to special requests. Storytelling assemblies are suitable for all grade levels, K through 12. Programs for younger children, especially, will often involve audience participation. To arrange one or more assemblies for your school, contact CSC.

Family Nights Storytelling can provide an entertaining and meaningful evening at school, bringing parents, teachers and students together. Performances lasting 45-60 minutes, for one or more grade-levels or all-school. To schedule a family night or discuss your needs, contact CSC.

Teacher Workshops Storytellers work with teachers to assist them in developing their own storytelling skills, and those of their students. Together they discover follow-up activities which align the story with the curriculum and strengthen grade-appropriate competencies. Workshops are also available for Parent Groups. For information about workshops that are available and to schedule one for your school or group, contact CSC.
